Who We Are
A hive built for
every child.
The Bee-Conomy is a bee-themed social-emotional learning ecosystem. It was born during the pandemic when founder Daniel McKinley Howell — dad to three energetic boys under five — discovered that the right routine could transform chaos into connection.
That spark grew into a full movement: partnering with schools, libraries, afterschool programs, nonprofits, and families to help children discover who they are and who they want to become.
What We Do
More than curriculum.
It's a universe.
The Bee-Conomy blends storytelling, play, mindfulness, sustainability, and experiential education into one connected ecosystem. SEL isn't taught as a lesson here — it's embedded into adventures, missions, and real-world community experiences.
At the heart of it all is our 7 C's Framework — a shared language that gives every child the tools to understand themselves and each other:
